Unlike typical succulents, it features a large, exposed green bulb that stores water and nutrients, while producing delicate climbing stems that create an elegant, airy display. Growing Conditions

Light:
Prefers bright indirect light or gentle morning sun. In very hot climates, protect from harsh afternoon sunlight.

Soil:
Requires a fast-draining succulent mix, such as:

• 50% cactus or succulent soil
• 25% pumice or perlite
• 25% coarse sand or grit

Watering:

• Water moderately during active growth.
• Allow the soil to dry between waterings.
• Reduce watering significantly during dormancy when the stems die back.
• Avoid waterlogged soil, which can cause bulb rot.

Temperature:

• Ideal range: 18–30°C
• Protect from temperatures below 10°C

Growth Cycle

• Autumn–Spring: Active growth with vigorous climbing stems.
• Late Spring–Summer: Flowering followed by gradual dormancy.
